depression spreads like wildfire

depression is when you are unhappy when you have no right or reason to be unhappy

depression is this deep dark hole

once you fall... its pretty hard to claw your way out

depression is when you cry for no apparent reason out of nowhere

depression can make you moody

depression can drive away your family and friends

depression is when your doctor puts you on anti-depressants

its when your doctor hands you relaxation tapes and tells you to "chill out"

your head is heavy as is your heart

unbelievable highs and mysterious lowss

you struggle to get out of bed in the mornings and stay into the wee hours of the night pondering

depression just slaps you in the face and when it does you have no idea how it got that way

its when you see no future, sometimes no today

and you dont even know why or how it got to you

and then you get angry and impatient when no one else understands

but how can they understand when you yourself can't make any sense of it?
