scuse the absence but its been a very busy year for me, in between wedding planning, home preps and indulging in my culinary vices, i've also been trying to kick some goals in my career ...and in real life (picking up soccer again)

i've been meaning to blog about my mate oliver's book launch but felt that it deserved much much more justice than i could give it in the past month so that will definitely be another post for another day but that doesnt take away from his awesomeness

on the topic of awesomeness, we had the fortune of being invited to trevor's birthday - quite a good concept actually, it was held at an artspace in the city and the concept was rather than buying a present, to contribute to a donation to amnesty international instead (yay, my charity of choice since uni days) there's just something about human rights that just pulls at my heart strings

Hello, actually i shouldn't call this eligible bachelor that, his name is Wei (geddit?)...anyway, being young men full of innovative ideas... Wei had an awesome idea of his own, everyone attending the party had to wear these uber cool nerd glasses and pose for a photo....
