becki cooks soup

i tried making sharkfin soup last night

now now before you all go "pwoahhhhhhhhhhhhh" and hail

it was sharkfin soup..... in a packet

i was going to do my mum proud by making something decent so i said to her... save some room in your stomach ill make you the best soup... and i hurried downstairs

as per stephanie's instructions i cracked two eggs and beat them up

i turned on my stove, poured some water into a pot ... then the ingredients from the packet....

at this point i wasnt too sure whether to put the eggs in or not.. i had forgotten so i thought ahh what the heck... chucked them in too

and then i proudly waited for it all to boil

and boy did it boil

after a few minutes i had guck splattered allover my mum's squeaky clean shimering white stove....

instead of the lustrous soup that appeared on the box.... i had a vomit-like subtance akin to yellow chunky congee, the pot was burnt beyong recognition and i was preparing myself for a good long telling off from ma...

where did i go wrong?

i cant figure that one out.
