guilt

took the day off work today cos i woke up feeling so sick...

for some strange reason though, i felt and am still feeling terribly guilty for taking the day off...

perhaps its because ive always thought of myself as abit of a fighter...

this terrible cough started about two weeks ago, but stubborn me persisted in going to work (and infecting everyone there) thinking that i could cope... i guess everyone around me saw that i was struggling, my manager even told me to take half day last friday cos i was struggling... but no i persisted until today... it was the first time since ive been here that i actually woke up and thought..."i cant do this today.. i just cant do it"

and so i called in sick...

then i spent the rest of the day feeling guilty.. i don't know why!

okay.. so i did stop by at the shops on my way to the doctors... and yes i did buy a few things i could not afford... but it was ON THE WAY to the doctors...so its justified right?

and okay so i did buy myself a fruit tart... and a pork bun ... and a cheesecake and okay so i did devour it all in one go.... but that was AFTER going to the doctors... (and the cheesecake was old and chewy and the base was hard... gross)...

but thats all normal right? WELL THEN...why the heck do i feel so guilty... i was genuinely sick! it wasnt until after i lay in bed for 6 hours totally immobile and after the shitload of medication i took kicked in that i did all this!!

dont think ill ever take another day off again! i hate guilt!

so anyway, apologies for the lack of graphics and photos here lately.. i know words smeared across the screen on its own can be quite bland.... but its dannys fault.. he went overseas and took with him his camera so until he gets back in an eternity's time..or until someone miraculously gives me a camera... its just words
